CR volunteers and members hosted the very first Community Legal Clinic! 18 people came to the Critical Resistance New Orleans office space for assistance in clearing their criminal records and free criminal legal advice. Our volunteers did amazing outreach and work all day, greeting people and seeing folks as they came through.  In the end, CR-NOLA was able to help at least ¾ of the crowd take care of their individual legal issues. The CR-NOLA team reports continued calls and inquiries since the legal clinic which is really exciting! Here’s hoping the next clinic is an even bigger success!

The next Community Legal Clinic will be Saturday, July 25th at CR-NOLA office. If you would like to volunteer, participate, or otherwise support the CR-NOLA Community Legal Clinic, please feel free to contact the office Tuesday – Friday 2pm-7pm and Saturday 11am-4pm.
